WHO WE ARE SSMC Alumni Association Abroad is a not for profit 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization (tax id # 45-2265994) of the graduates of Sir Salimullah Medical College. Members comprised of graduates who are currently living abroad to make advancement of their career path. Members volunteer to achieve the mission and objectives of the organization. We are based in the USA. |
WHAT WE DO Among many things we do, our primary goal is to improve communications among our alumni using this platform. We have remained committed to help our alumni in any forms which include helping with building their professional career. We have established various programs for this purpose. We provide lab coats and scholarships to SSMC Students every year. We have facilitated improved communications between college and alumni. Our members regularly participate in the exchange of skills and education with college. We remain committed to help our community and our alumni are involved in many socio-cultural activities. |

Members of SSMC Alumni Abroad made a donation of 300 dollars towards the victims of east coast natural disaster.
A donation of 300 dollars was also made for children of Somalia where famine striked children are dying.
Both donations were made through American Red Cross.
Thanks to the generous donation by an alumnus Dr. Nazma Uddin from SS-11, SSMC Alumni Association Abroad donated a refrigerator to Shandhani SSMC to be used for their Blood Bank . Shandhani is run by student volunteers who collect and distribute free of cost about 1500 units of blood from volunteer blood donors.
